Something Darker by Michael Wellington
I was sent this as an arc read and let me tell you it was by far one of my favorite arc reads I have ever read! If we are being honest here, it was one of my favorite reads all year long.
Michael brought the spice and the thrill with this one!
I started reading it and could NOT put this one down. One thing I super loved about reading this book was that it kept me wanting more. I wanted to know what happened next.
Let me tell you the ending though!!! WHAAATTT??!?!?!
I did not see that coming at all. I wish that I could go back and reread this book for the first time again. It was that good!

What is it about?

This girl ends up getting a job as a house keeper to this billionaire. The "Wife" hires her to cook, clean, take care of the house and also run errands. Well she is also an author and she has a secret room. No one is allowed in there.
The house keeper ends up falling in love with the husband, who also falls in love with her. This is a spicy book so its get spicy here. The wife finds out and actually ends up liking the girl too.
Well come to find out, the wife is actually not the wife, she killed the wife and she was the house keeper at one time. She locked the wife in the room that no one was allowed to go in. The husband never knew what happened to his wife, he just knew she died and the body was never recovered.
The house keeper (Main Character) decided one day to finally go in there. She discovers the wife! Well the crazy girl ends up actually killing the wife at this point and puts her down there. The husband finds her and saves her. The crazy ex boyfriend ends up trying to kill her and him. Its crazy mess.
It is definitely one that you will have to read! I highly recommend this book!
